Check This Out!

In recent months I have been watching a lot of video documentaries on Netflix streaming. Things that I probably wouldn’t rent and definitely would not buy without knowing a lot more about them first. During that time I have discovered many extremely interesting things and expanded my horizons greatly.

Among the things that have sparked my interest, several took me in the direction of healthy eating. Specifically, preventing, controlling and even reversing many ‘diseases’ with food. Yes, you read that right! “Let food be thy medicine, and let thy medicine be food,” Hippocrates, commonly considered the father of Western Medicine said.

The video I spent the most time getting into is called “Forks Over Knives,” and I have recommended this very interesting DVD documentary to everyone in my family and many of my friends:

It has been a life changer for me. I have watched it over & over and was thrilled to learn that my sister came across it on her own and it really changed her life.

My further reading and research then led me to a book that I see as an amazing resource rather than just a ‘book.’ Check it out:

You can learn a great deal more about the book, it’s author, and lots more on the web site: http://www.whfoods.com/ If you sign up for the free newsletter, you will get the first chapter of the book free. Whether you do that, or get the book, or not – the web site is a terrific resource in itself. Check it out!

Now whatever you do don’t think that I am giving you advice about your health – or saying that changing my diet help me and might help you. After all I really don’t want to go to jail. If you don’t know what I am talking about read this:
