In recent months I have been watching a lot of video documentaries on Netflix streaming. Things that I probably wouldn’t rent and definitely would not buy without knowing a lot more about them first. During that time I have discovered many extremely interesting things and expanded my horizons greatly.
Among the things that have sparked my interest, several took me in the direction of healthy eating. Specifically, preventing, controlling and even reversing many ‘diseases’ with food. Yes, you read that right! “Let food be thy medicine, and let thy medicine be food,” Hippocrates, commonly considered the father of Western Medicine said.
The video I spent the most time getting into is called “Forks Over Knives,” and I have recommended this very interesting DVD documentary to everyone in my family and many of my friends:
It has been a life changer for me. I have watched it over & over and was thrilled to learn that my sister came across it on her own and it really changed her life.
