Happy Father’s Day Dad(s) – You Deserve It!

These days men and Fathers are criticized and ridiculed at every turn. Yet where would we be without fathers? They represent the thing we all want our sons to grow up to be: caring, sharing, self-sacrificing and the rock when it’s needed. The title of this classic book named real men & fathers best: Man Of Steel And Velvet.

It doesn’t take much to be a male parent, but it takes character to be a good father. Thank God for the fathers that raise us whether they be fathers by blood or by choice.

I am truly thankful for the father figures I have had in my life, I hope you are too. And if your father is still walking the Earth – let him know how much he means to you, even if he is less than perfect. I wish I had that option.

Happy Father’s Day Chris. I wish my father was still with me to celebrate. Enjoy the day.

Yes, me too. But I live in the confidence that they know and share – and only we are blind to their presence.
