Chris, this was awesome. John Wayne was one of my moms favorite people so to hear him stating the pledge of allegiance was very moving.

    Hi Chris,

I loved this, I actually have an album by John Wayne. It’s called America, Why I Love Her. It was recorded in 1973. Thanks for sending it, I loved the Red Skelton too.

  3. C says:

Thanks Joyce, always good to hear from you. I will be posting a short part of that album in the near future.

Great to have a comment from you guys – Thanks Scott & Susan. Hearing others talk about their patriotism has always moved me. But to hear the depth of feeling in these two pieces from people that we all know and love is particularly powerful. It is good to know that my friends & readers feel the same way.
