Martin Luther King Jr.

There have been many great people, and many great orators. But nowhere near as many great people who were also great orators. Included in the latter group is Martin Luther King Jr. who, when many were out looking for blood or simply giving up the fight, spoke to the heart of the matter.

In his 1964 Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech in Oslo, Norway Rev. King said,

“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.”

I share this with you today specifically because it reflects my own beliefs and those given in the video in my previous post: Is It Too Late For America?

I hope you agree because as Andrew Jackson said, “One man with courage makes a majority.” Just imagine what a group of us with courage and a clear vision can accomplish? Isn’t that exactly how this Great Nation of ours began?
